Some 175 owners of the privatized Raintree Gardens each walked away with $1.9 million, which is a whopping 90% premium over the last transacted price at $1.1 million. This en bloc sale was also the third successful one in year 2016 following Harbour View Gardens and Shunfu Ville, reaffirmation the start of an upturn in a somewhat stagnated property market.
